Is there Tin Within?
I was doing some more in depth study and research on a subject that I have spent decades on, “The Wilderness Sanctuary,” and this point came up that I knew already, but I had never quite connected these dots this way. We turn to Isaiah 1:25 “And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin.” Now Tin in the Hebrew mind set is synonymous with “Sin;” it is just one of those things that are interconnected. Now Brass is a composite of… Continue reading
What’s Eating You?
The Gardener daily looked over the bare earth, but there should be masses of Dahlia shoots springing forth, powering up towards the sky, thick foliage and big heavy heads of colourful blossom, but each day, there was nothing but bare earth. Watering, fertilizer, warm sunshine, nothing seemed to be working. Then the gardener noticed that some of the other plants in the vege garden were being attacked by hungry snails, so he sprinkled some bait out for them, and on his way past the Dahlia bed he sprinkled the last crumbs from the box thinly… Continue reading
Let us dissect this verse and find a depth that is often missed, Luke 6:28 “Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.” So on face value, this looks fine, it admonishes us that should somebody come at us from “The Dark Side” in curses or negativity, we are admonished to stay with Jesus Christ on “The Light Side” and to Bless them, to be a blessing unto them. Now “Curse” is Strongs and is “to doom – to curse.” Now Strongs comes from Strongs which… Continue reading
There they were, happily driving along, when in a moments inattention, “Crash – Boom,” they came to an instant sudden stop, Airbags deployed, dust and steam everywhere, windscreen crazy cracked, and the bonnet looking more like a mountain range. There bent across their front, is one of those very expensive “Luxury Cars” from Europe. All inside were safe, because of its extremely high safety ratings, through over engineering, their injuries are rare, and usually very minor, it was a “walk away accident.”
Reality now hits the driver, as he looks dazed upon the chaotic scene in front… Continue reading
The day had finally come, there was finally now no other way, no other choices, this needed their total submission, committed into the Surgeons hands, yet there still arose some thoughts of anticipation, fear, dread, excitement that full health was about to be restored, a new and better life ahead, this wide raft of varying thoughts and fears bounced around inside their head, the gown, the bed, then the operating table and then, and then. Awaking in recovery, and all had gone way better than anticipated, totally healed and totally restored, ailment gone, the checks were made… Continue reading
Here is an interesting problem that is not so common these days, “Stumped.” In the very “Old Days” roads were tracks through the forests and undergrowth, or you just forged your own way, but every now and then, you got “Stumped.” There stuck against your axel barring your way, was an old tree stump that a previous person had cut down so that they could pass that way, they chopped down the offending tree, then drove their cart or waggon over it, but your lovely low slung cart or trailer is now stuck. If you were… Continue reading
Here is something to ponder; The battle between Joseph and his brothers began because of his dreams. Not that Joseph was very rich, but his dreams were a threat to his brothers. Listen, the enemy of souls doesn’t attack you because of who you are today, but because of who you can become. Your amazing future is the reason you are under attack. The Devil wants you to give up on achieving your abounding future, but God has a much better plan. Agree with God today, that you will not give up until… Continue reading
Quote; “We need to learn to praise the Lord as much for a closed door as we do an open door. The reason God closes doors is because He has not prepared anything over there for us. If he didn’t close the wrong door, we would never find the right door.
God directs our path through the closing and opening of doors. Once a door closes, it forces you to change your course. Another door closes, it forces you to change your course again. Then, finally, you find the open door and you walk right into your… Continue reading
The Cat Cage
There he was, tail held high, wandering about in the cool of the evening, right after his dinner, when it happened, out of nowhere the stray Tom Cat struck, he struck fast, well planned, and furiously attacked, Simba did his best to protect, defend and to escape but the wild Tom was too well planned in his attack, and Simba got severely bitten, the victor wandered off, proud that he had once more exercised his domination of everything in his dominion.
Limping home, familiar things was all Simba wanted, up on the bed where he would be… Continue reading
Watch and Pray
Prayer and watching thereunto are necessary for advancement in the divine life. . . . Your only safety is to live like a watchman. Watch and pray always. Oh, what a preventive against yielding to temptation and falling into the snares of the world! “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Ephesians 6:18. “Take ye heed, watch and pray.” Mark 13:13.
First, you are to watch. Watch, lest you should speak hastily, fretfully, and impatiently. Watch, lest pride should find a… Continue reading
