Oh Love of God
Quote; “Have you ever considered that God has fallen madly in love with you..? He sends you flowers in Spring. He sends you sunshine every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He instantly listens to you. He can live anywhere in the Vast Universe, but he has chosen your heart. Amen. [Kelly’s Treehouse] We read about Love, we sing about it, sermons and talks expound about it, but do we even approach to knowing much about this very deep subject? In a very small space of this Article, let us explore, and try to actually experience it. We on a human level can grasp a wee bit, as a child we day dream of having that somebody special, they come along and the current reality is way better than previous dreams, then a “Wedding Day,” and we are together, and we get to experience way more depth in our relationship, pets, children, making a “Home,” and in every day and in every way we draw closer to each other, understand more, our relationship gets deeper and fuller, and is a far distant cry from what a child tried to understand of what life could possibly look like. Here it is again, Quote; “Have you ever considered that God has fallen madly in love with you..? He sends you flowers in Spring. He sends you sunshine every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He instantly listens to you. He can live anywhere in the Vast Universe, but he has chosen your heart. Amen. [Kelly’s Treehouse]
God never says “No!” He just prompts, have you ever thought about this or that, how about you go this path, try this or that, tenderly prompting and guiding, compassionate, God really truly cares about you. Jesus came to rescue us from impending disaster and destruction, 2 Corinthians 5:19 “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” An Author once wrote something thought provoking like this, “If you or I were the only person in the whole universe to ever commit sin, then Jesus would still have died on Calvary for just you, only you, just in case you ever did one day stop fighting long enough against God, to change your mind and in repenting come back to the Love of God.” Now that gets way out there. Romans 5:6-9 “For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
God still shows “Abundant Love,” even though he knows everything about me, yet he still loves me passionately, and still has my very best interest at heart Isaiah 53:4-6 ERV “The fact is, it was our suffering he took upon himself; he bore our pain. But we thought that God was punishing him, that God was beating him up for something he did. But he was being punished for what we did. He was crushed because of our guilt. He took the punishment we deserved, and this brought us peace. We were healed because of his pain. We had all wandered away like sheep. We had gone our own way. And yet the Lord put all our guilt upon him. Romans 8:39 “Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 1:3 “Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;” 2 John 1:3 “Grace be with you, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” The reverse of this tells us that God is so madly in love with you, that whatever he eats or drinks, or whatever he does, it is for your eternal benefit, so that you can escape the death of this world and have real life close with him in Heaven.
Brenda Walsh wrote, “Visualize God with his loving arms around you, whispering, “I love you. It’s going to be okay. Relax and trust that I care for you.” Picture a tender, loving Father who hears the cries of his child and then allow God’s holy presence to fill you with peace. With God’s strength, you will be able to handle your problems according to his will.” Just read Isaiah Chapter 54, God really does love you.
Now we have here outlined the six cities of refuge; Kedesh, Shechem, Hebron, Bezer, Ramoth, Golan. Now Hebrew names have meanings, Kedesh – our sanctuary, Shechem – our strength, Hebron – known as friend, sometimes called the city of Abraham who was the friend of God, Bezer – our fortress, Ramoth (Ramoth Gilead) literally means our home, Golan -enclosed or embraced, tenderly enclosed in the arms of compassion and love. Jeremiah 31:3 31:3 “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 2:32 “Can a maid forget her ornaments, [or] a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me days without number.” Isaiah 49:16 “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands; thy walls [are] continually before me.” God has promised to never forget you, can you say that you have never forgotten God?
Back to the start, Quote; “Have you ever considered that God has fallen madly in love with you..? He sends you flowers in Spring. He sends you sunshine every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He instantly listens to you. He can live anywhere in the Vast Universe, but he has chosen your heart. Amen. [Kelly’s Treehouse] Oh the Love of God, it is so wide, so deep, so compassionate, why not instantly marinade yourself in the love of God as found in Christ Jesus our Lord? God is my Boss, and I am his Employee; I’m very thankful for my everyday salary called Life. With benefits called Blessings. And a reward called Eternal Life.” “Oh the Love of God.”When a Flashlight grows dim or quits working, do you just throw it away? Of course not. You just change the batteries. When a person messes up or finds themselves in a dark place, do you cast them aside? Of course not! You help them change their batteries. Some need “AA”… attention and affection; some need “AAA”… attention, affection and acceptance; some need “C”… compassion; some need “D”… direction. And if they still don’t seem to shine… simply sit with them quietly and share your light. For God loves you abundantly, so share it around, God will fill you up with loads more love, so that you will never run on empty. “Oh, the Love of God.” “The Measure of love is – When you love without Measure.” “Oh, the Love of God.” Quote; “The relations between God and each soul are as distinct and full as though there were not another soul upon the earth to share His watchcare, not another soul for whom He gave His beloved Son. {SC 100} “Oh, the Love of God.”
