Your Faith
Often when sharing your Faith, sharing just those things which God has just recently done in and through you, Past, and or Present, in your Life, that new victory or revelation, so often the reply to us is in the terms of “Your Faith.” How come that “Faith,” now has a “Denominational Title,” you got yours from a different shop than mine, mine is still better, so I’ll stick to mine and ignore yours. Romans 10:17 “So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” So if “Genuine Faith” cometh from the Bible, does that then mean that we have denominational gods, very different god’s who publish very different bibles, saying “come unto me, and I will?” Join our group for, “We are the Saved and Redeemed?” So who then has it right, and why cannot we share and be encouraged and cheered, by God’s workings and victories in the lives of others, is not the “True God” above All and every Denomination? Romans 3:22 “Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:” Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Does that mean that “upon all them that believe” has just been “Trade Marked” to now mean some particular Denomination? Romans 3:22a “Even the righteousness of God,” so do we have the “Righteousness of God,” or our “Own Righteousness or even my Denominations Righteousness?” Is this not “Churchianity instead of Christianity?”
Revelation tells us that “the Redeemed and Translated” have “and the faith of Jesus.” The redeemed’s “Faith” is not theirs, it is not “Denominational,” it belongs to Jesus Christ, and him alone, it is faith fixed in his salvation and redemptive powers, but it is also the very same faith that Jesus has in his Father, to overcome sin, to be victorious, to be fit to walk the streets of gold, and to be able to be “One with God.” So how is “Your Faith?” Now Jesus told a Parable of the first feast in Heaven, God has just come in to inspect and to admire his kids who have only just come back home, and then he found there one guest clothed in “his own righteousness,” his robe may well win all competitions for its amazingness, but it is still “filthy rags,” when compared to God, so out he went, bound and tossed out like a trash bag. Whose “Faith and Righteousness” do you and I subscribe to, to actually possess? Having the wrong one is “filthy rags” and has you destined to the trash, wrong is still wrong and right is still right. Who and where did you source “Your Faith?”
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Ephesians 4:14-21 “That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ: That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
Philippians 2:5-11 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; and [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Is this what Jesus referred to in this Parable of the wedding feast, in Luke 14:23-24 “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel [them] to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, that none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.” Does this not imply that “The Churched” are so full of their own Denominational Righteousness, that they have no space for God, so God therefore has now found no space for them at the banquet in Heaven for them, just the “Un-Churched?” Luke 7:50 “And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.” Saving “Faith” is from God, Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” She had the faith of Jesus, full reliance and total trust in God, his and our Heavenly Father, a faith that was immovable. Quote; “The greatest want of the world is the want of men,–men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin by its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall. {CM 54} Your “Faith should be solid and immovable,” Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,” so is your “Faith” rooted and grounded in God, or does your faith come pre-packaged from your Denomination, or home group leader? So is it “Churchianity or Christianity?” Whence cometh “Your Faith?”
