I am a Graffiti Artist
No, I am not one of those people who creep about in the shadows, aerosol spay cans in a back pack, who sneak up to a prominent wall, bus, train, bridge or building, and in just a short few moments, the cans spray, and the artist quickly melts away into the night. Graffiti means to “write or to draw on something, especially in a public place.” Graffiti is derived from the Greek, graphikos, meaning ‘drawn’ or ‘written.’ Now you are currently reading something that has been drawn or written, so I guess that in this case, I am guilty of being the artist that wrote it down, so I guess that I am guilty of being a ‘Graffiti Artist.’ Whenever I place myself into the hands of God, and write like this, under his inspiration, and under the direction of God, when I become a spray can in God’s Hands, then something beautiful, amazing, inspiring, is revealed, but should I push my own button, then we would just have a messy blemish, something not very good at all. Oh, by the way, so are you a spray can and a graffiti artist! Gossip is really nothing more than scribbling what has transpired in the life of somebody else, upon the lives of other people, tarnishing them, splashing and plastering about on them the woes and griefs of others, and this is in essence “Graffiti.” Now if you have their permission, ‘Graffiti’ is often viewed as ‘Art,’ but if it is sneaked up and sprayed about in pure slanderous gossip, then it is criminal, defacing, degrading, basically disgusting and an eyesore, gross. If ‘Permission’ is granted, and it is well done, it is artistic and can make a boring plain silo, that brick wall, the end of a building, beautiful, tranquil, something you desire to linger before and to admire, with ‘No Permission,’ it is just plain ole offensive and criminal behaviour. In our lives, there is always two choices, and the outcome from what we do, or omit to do, then the paths divides; we have ‘Positive Outcomes’ or else we have ‘Negative Consequences,’ and you get to choose, so choose carefully before you unload. How so often we wish that we were ‘Teflon’ coated, and have the slander just slide off us, but too often it just sticks, defacing us with what others do, and what others have unloaded upon us.
Unloaders, are just like a viral spray paint can, they rush up to us, punch their finger on their own button, and woosh, it all sprays out, messy dribbly, exploding right in your face, and then like a criminal graffiti artist, they immediately turn and disappear into the darkness. The ‘Court System’ tells us that spousal intimacy can just as easily become spousal abuse, it is all down to permission and it being agreed to as being acceptable, but any is wrong, inappropriate unharmonious, then we have something akin to ‘Criminal Graffiti,’ and the results are normally inerasable. Marriage gives ‘Spousal Rights’ but one also then needs also firstly, ‘Spousal Permission.’ A flirting stranger or friend, can offer ‘Spousal Permission,’ but one has no rights to advance in this, it is ‘Graffiti,’ dirty and messy and inerasably defacing and damaging graffiti, only your souse holds the ‘Spousal Rights,’ so go to them, get that ‘Spousal Permission,’ and together paint something beautiful, something wholesome, something that lasts a lifetime and even beyond, paint murals together, let God’s hand blend and contrast your individual colour’s and hues, into something amazing, something inspiring and lasting, something only spouses can experience, as all and any other spray cans, when intimately mixed with you, will always make for just messy and inerasably defacing ‘Graffiti.’
Matthew 5:28 “But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” Job 31:1 “I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?” Looking at another ‘Spray Can,’ no matter how enticing, how attractive their colour, temptation beckons to get together and to blend, but the end result is always disgustingly gross and offensive to all who behold, it is just ‘Criminal Graffiti.’ Romans 8:39 “Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Spray away, spray over everything, ‘The Love of God,’ get it on yourself, get it everywhere, the colors are amazing, the transformation hides and covers a multitude of sins, James 5:20 “Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” You are a paint blend of your Father and your Mother, children are also a unique paint blend of their Father and their Mother, there are no others in the world, probably the Universe, blended exactly like you, you are special and unique, you have a Heavenly Father, do you blend and spray wholesomeness and purity, or on the other side, is our father the devil, and we spray graffiti on everything blanking over purity and beauty with gross darkness? Quote; “This is maturity: To be able to stick with a job until it is finished; to do one’s duty without being supervised; to be able to carry money without spending it; to be able to bear an injustice without wanting to get even.” {Dear Abby} Hebrews 12:1-3 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” Let us with patience run the race set before us, let us be ‘Godly Spray Cans’ that are held only by the master artist, Jesus Christ, and then to spray our unique hues over the canvas, that jaws will drop, feet will stop, and many will stare in amazement, praising God for the outstanding mural painted out before them. “I am a Graffiti Artist,” but I am only amazing when in the hands of the Master Artist, Jesus Christ, you can be to, just let him spray beauty instead of jungle graffiti.
