Hallucination

How so many people vainly live in ‘La La Land,’ they build imaginary castles in the air, dream of being a very ‘Famous Somebody,’ they have a wonderful ‘Vision,’ they can even describe it in intricate detail, and yet fail totally to understand that; “vision without execution is just hallucination” James 1:23 “For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:” James is in essence requesting that we be a ‘Doer’ of the word, and not a ‘Hearer’ only, for “vision without execution is just hallucination.” So, what could be in yours and my life that is in essence just a ‘Fantasy,’ a ‘Hallucination,’ a ‘Pipe Dream?’ Remember that a pipe dream is a hope or plan that you have, which you know will never really happen. You could waste your whole life on a pipe-dream. Synonyms: daydream, dream, notion, fantasy.
Has even “Heaven” become a ‘Pipe Dream,’ that which has no reality, something way out there in a Galaxy, far, far, away? Remember that a “vision without execution is just hallucination.” Proverbs 29:18a “Where [there is] no vision, the people perish.” Philippians 3:12-14 “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul had a vision, a concept, a reality, Heaven was very real to him, he pressed forwards, Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Paul was under no ‘delusion’ and no ‘fantasy’ and under no ‘hallucination,’ God is very real to him. Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Is our “Faith,” in reality a ‘delusion’ or even a ‘fantasy’ or are we just seduced under a ‘hallucination?’ “Vision without execution is just hallucination,” then has your ‘Vision,’ your ‘Faith’ got some running shoes on, those marching boots on, are you already marching forwards, pressing towards that mark, marching to Zion, that reality of God, and that reality of living with him in a real Heaven? Have you even become so settled that you are just comfortably camped by the highway? Ephesians 2:1-6 “And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins: wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:” Remember that live fish swim upstream, while dead ones drift down, live trees grow and blossom, anything other than vibrant life and growth is just unto death. “Vision without execution is just hallucination” Do your dreams, aspirations, hopes, even your ‘Faith,’ have any ‘execution,’ is there a ‘reality’ an ‘Action Plan,’ that step by step To-Do-List, 2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2 Peter 1:5-9 “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.” Sin in this concept is nothing more than “Hallucination,” that which robbed your aspiration, dreams, your very future, of an achievable reality, Faith has a reality, Heaven has a reality, God is a reality, are we ‘pressing forwards,’ growing in Grace and Knowledge, is there an action plan, a growth and development strategy? “You cannot build a reputation on what you are going to do, vision without execution is just hallucination” ~ Henry Ford. “A vision without a plan is fantasy. Proverbs 29:18a “Where [there is] no vision, the people perish.” Is your ’Marching to Zion’ a real Reality or has inaction caused it to become just a ‘Hallucination?’
