“I Hold God in the Palm of my Hand,” now this is a physical concept that happened almost 2000years ago, Jesus’ mother, Mary had that privilege, and that was more than once, Jesus had his feet held firmly by Mary Magdalene on numerous occasions in gratitude and praise for healing, for sins forgiven, for a New Life, but two others actually got to say, “I Hold God in the Palm of my Hand.”  Luke 2:25-31 “And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name [was] Simeon; and the same man [was] just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.  And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.  And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,  Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,  Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,  Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;”  Luke 2:34-40 “And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;  (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.  And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; and she [was] a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God] with fastings and prayers night and day.  And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.  And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth.  And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.”

Quote; “At this very time there were in the temple two of God’s true servants, Simeon and Anna. Both had grown old in His service, and He showed them things that could not be made known to the proud and selfish priests.  To Simeon had been given the promise that he should not die until he had seen the Saviour. As soon as he saw Jesus in the temple, he knew that this was the promised One.  Upon the face of Jesus there was a soft, [and] heavenly light; and Simeon, taking the child in his arms, praised God, and said:  “Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace, according to Thy word: for mine eyes have seen Thy salvation, which Thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel.” Luke 2:29-32.  Anna, a prophetess, “coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of Him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.” Luke 2:38. So it is that God chooses humble people to be His witnesses. {SJ 19}

Colossians 1:26-27 “[Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”  As the song goes; “How big is God, he rules the mighty Universe, but small enough to live within my heart,” small enough so that ‘I could hold God in the palm of my hand,’ small enough, for him to live within my heart, that great and mighty God, who rules the vast Universe, he that created everything that lives and moves and breathes and exists, both visible and invisible, planets and powers and dominions, all with the simple breath of his mouth, he spoke, and it was, he commanded and it stood fast, that’s the God, that God that now lives within me, that God that a few people actually had the privilege and honor of saying, “I held God in the palm of my hands.”  Will you repent, submit, just let God in, just let God have the sway and direction in your life, including your love and devotion, desires and passions, hopes and dreams, will you let God in, and treasure him, hold him compassionately within your heart, will you adore him??  Isaiah 43:11-13 “I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no Saviour.  I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when [there was] no strange [god] among you: therefore ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I [am] God.  Yea, before the day [was], I [am] he; and [there is] none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?  Colossians 1:27 “To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”  That “Christ in you,” that “In Christ,” that devotion and compatibility, that oneness, which is ‘Marriage’ terminology.  Romans 8:15 “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”  So in essence we can be assured that, “I hold God in the Palm of my Hand,” that “Christ in you is the hope of glory,” that compatibility, that oneness, walking daily with God, trusting, sharing, working together, compatibility, love and devotion, Amos 3:3 “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”  So are you then, “In Christ,” do you have “Christ living in you,” “I hold God in the Palm of my Hand,” is this true for you, or is this something that you need to urgently attend to?
