Protection Money
Let us take a flimsy and flawed, an evil and an earthly concept, to somehow by using it, to scrub it up a little, and by this to try to grasp a vast and broad, Heavenly Concept. Now back in ‘the bad ole days,’ and then this practice is probably still around and alive and kicking all around the world today, gangsters and thugs used to muscle in and demand “Protection Money,” saying give us an amount of cash every week, what we currently call ‘Extortion and Racketeering,’ and we will protect you and your business, if you do not pay, well, then almost anything could, and will most likely happen to you. Once under their protection, the word went out to their hoodlums, and to other hoodlums, to leave that business alone, and for their Muscle to intercept and to neutralize, any and all attempts to rob, or to harass this business. Anybody who ever broke this code of protection, then the ‘Muscle’ quickly attended to it, it will not ever happen to you again, for you are protected, you are under our Protection. 1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”
We only know a little, and our comprehension and understanding, is miniscule, as to how Heaven and God’s Government operates, it is hazy and clouded, but then we have human things to examine, and to contemplate and to observed these things. But then God has his Muscle around his kids, there leaning against the wall watching over you, or our other things, that we could somehow vainly try to use these things to comprehend heavenly and “Spiritual things,” and this is a very poor attempt, but then again, it is humorous, and we sort of can dimly perceive and to grasp, ‘Heavenly Things,” so have you paid up your weekly “Protection Money” to God, for his ongoing protection, to have his ‘Muscle,’ or Heavenly Angels to camp round about you, or is Satan and his Wicked Thugs, about to break in and to kill and to steal, John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly,” or the enemy could even in aggression, to burn your business to the ground. Psalm 34:7 “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” In this vain, and humorously senseless foolishness, God therefore has directed and appointed his “Muscle,” to stand in your doorway, and to discouraging and to neutralizing anything that wants to force its way in, for to harass and to harm or to annoy you, so then humorously, have you paid up your weekly “Protection Money” to God? Have all of you, nicely and regularly ‘Paid Up’ your ‘Protection Money,’ that you freely, and have there happily every week, to give in that little brown envelope, have obediently placed it carefully into the hands of the ‘Collector,’ or are you gambling, vainly and foolishly, wishing and hoping that troubles will just somehow find somebody else, that evil will be kept away from your doors, to attempt survival in this wicked and evil generation, to try to survive without God’s Muscle and Protection, now that is a very bad gamble, and that is something I choose not to take, but then again, are you fully paid up to God, or are you gambling with your future safety, that Satan and his thugs will not ever pay you a visit for to harm you? 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” Are you fully paid up with your ‘Protection Money?’
Matthew 22:21 “They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, 2 which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” God’s Kids, belong to him, solely, completely, and entirely, Corinthians 6:15 “And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?” We just cannot pay tribute or heed, or to give our attention to evil, and then to turn around and to expect protection from that very same evil by ‘God’s Muscle,’ evil is intent only to kill and to harm and to destroy, but if you want God’s protection, then you need to surrender, to dedicate everything to God, Matthew 3:1-2 “In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, and saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Commit ye this day to serving ‘The Lord,’ to forever to live, to live and to move and to have our being, to exist and to be his, under his divine protection and his fatherly compassionate guidance, so then are you weekly paying in your “Protection Money?” You could choose to go over to the Dark Side, and to live unto sin and evil, and to hope that Satan will leave you alone, nah, that would never work, as Satan is a liar and a cheat and a thief, Satan will only protect you from Salvation, he will use you as a pawn in his game of destruction, and then for you to be destroyed along with him for all the wickedness that you have done. God calls for us all to “Repent,” and to choose him, to be under God’s Protection, and remember that God’s protection is fantastic, and has amazingly Eternal benefits as well, so have you paid up to God each and every week that little brown envelope of “Protection Money?”
