In the Fullness of Time
God is very compassionate and patient, ‘In the Fullness of Time’ all will be made exceptionally clear and blatantly obvious, with absolutely no confusion as to which is which, and to what is what, be patient, it is ‘In the Fullness of Time.’ Ephesians 1:10 “That in the dispensation of the fulness of times, he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:” Now one comes across from time to time, studies of people who love History, say, where did that ever come from, who had it first, how far back do you have to go to get to the first written records of this activity, and which religion or nation ascribed to this philosophy? When one pokes around, behind the scenes, it is amazing how far back things go, as it appears ‘that there is nothing new under the sun, Ecclesiastes 1:9 “The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun.”
So let us poke about in the far distant past to shine a light on things that are not weeks or months old, years or decades old, but are often thousands of years old. The Christian religion, on Planet Earth, goes back to Adam and Eve, Revelation 13:8 “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” But then that is at least some 6,000 years old, the Jewish Religion go back to Father Abraham, and his, son, son, son etc. Also, to the Prophet and Author, Moses, who is also from around 1391-1271 BC, or loosely some 3,300 years ago. The Catholic church makes Peter their first Pope, and that event is a mere 2,000 years ago. Now one historian researcher has traced many of the Christian doctrines and philosophies of our modern denominational doctrines, which are adhered to still today, and found them way back into Mithraism, and to Greek Philosophy, and that is pointing back to some 3,000 years ago. The Bible associates the fallen Church with Babylon, and Babylon is directly connected to ‘The Tower of Babel,’ and that is right after Noah’s Flood, or some 3,600 years ago. Many Occultic and Secret Societies can clearly trace themselves right back to ‘Enoch,’ but tread very carefully, as there are two of them, living at about the same time. One is the Enoch of Jude 1:14a “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam,” and that is on God’s side, God’s child, the Occultic one is ‘Enoch the son of Cain,’ and that is on the enemy of God’s line, but Noah’s Flood is just over some 3,600 years ago, and that is a bit longer back than yesterday. 2 Peter 3:8-9 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Psalm 41:13 “Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.” Now ‘everlasting to everlasting,’ or in Hebrew it is ‘Olam Haba,’ or as far back as you want to go, God is still there, and even yet, still further back, as far back as you want to go, God is forever there, Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Psalm 139:7-12 “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there]. [If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light [are] both alike [to thee].” As far as you want to go, into the past, or even into the future, things may change, but God is never changing, God is Love, God is still there, Quote; “Above the distractions of the earth He sits enthroned; all things are open to His divine survey; and from His great and calm eternity He orders that which His providence sees best. God does not propose to be called to account for His ways and works. It is for His glory to conceal His purposes now; but by and by they will be revealed in their true importance. But He has not concealed His great love, which lies at the foundation of all His dealings with His children. {FLB 42}
Malachi 3:6 “For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” God is from eternity, unto eternity, God does not change, God’s word is a sure guide, reliable, so let us dust off our Bibles, to check out ‘what God said,’ and to follow it, and not to be deluded by ‘what man said.’ The Preacher could have it wrong, but are you a follower of a Human, or a follower of God, Jesus is the only one who can get you into Heaven, Denominations, Evangelists, Preachers and Pastors, can only, and should only point you to Christ, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and everything in between, He died on Calvary in your very place, for your very sin, he is offering you Eternal life with him, and he will deliver; “In the Fullness of Time.”
