The Inoculation
The world of “Immunology” gives us an amazing insight into the Human Body, and its amazing ability to overcome the invasion of a Pathogen that has its sights set on destroying you, and in the process, using your body and all its resources to re-manufacture itself, making you a factory, a host, to make billions of copies of itself, so that through your life and death, it can then spread itself and infect copious quantities to other people, then again in using them to replicate the Pathogen, thus spreading rapidly across the Nation. If one has a “Healthy Immune System,” then the body takes around 10 days to create a specific “Antibody” to destroy this invading Pathogen, and will continue making the solution, the “Antibody,” until the body has finally won the battle.
Next the body sets out to repair the damages inflicted by the Pathogen, on your organs, systems and everything, and then stores away the “Solution” so that if it ever dares to return, then in a matter of almost immediately, the “Antibody” is back into full mass production, so that you hardly feel the new infection. The only problem is that if this is a new rapidly invasive “Pathogen,” then often by the time the 10 days are up for your body to have made the solution, you have already died and been buried in the graveyard, long ago, as the “pathogen” rapidly killed you off, long before you could ever create a counter attack.
That is where a “Vaccine” comes in, as you get the messages, often from a stunned batch of the disease, so that your body can make its own batch of “Antibodies” but the vaccine cannot give you the disease, just aid you to make a solution, this is the ability to manufacture an “Antibody” to protect you should you ever come in contact with the dreaded illness. But if you have a “Weak or Compromised Immune System,” then it takes much longer to gain “Immunity,” and thus you often become a statistic of being conquered by death.
In the Bible, Sin is often termed in what we could easily see as a “Pathogen,” something alien that enters your body, something that will kill you, Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift [vaccine] of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:14-16 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” When we live the “Holy Life,” and are living in harmony with Heaven, living sin free, Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Here we live so close to God, that sin and sinning are not part of our lifestyle, sin and sinning are seen as a “Foreign Pathogen,” something that if let into us, will once more start the process of killing us again, and using us as a host to spread the dread, and to infect others with death as well.
When we confess our sins, repent, come humbly to Jesus, we get “Inoculated,” and now have life, but if we ever fall back into sin, we get re-infected with a new strain of the Pathogen of sin, which once more starts multiplying in us, causing us once more to start to die. The longer we delay in sin, the worse the infection, and the more likely we are to die outside of Salvation in Jesus Christ. But if you “Stay Inoculated,” then you are infectious for Jesus Christ, as those around you see the “New Life” within, the joy, peace, longsuffering, and all the other fruit of the Spirit, and they become infected with “Salvation,” and so the pandemic of Salvation in Christ Jesus spreads rapidly across our Nation. Let the infection of Salvation start in me.
1 Corinthians 5:6-7 “Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven [Sin] leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened [sin free]. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:” In this verse, and playing with our “Inoculation” concept, our “Old Life of sin and suffering” is the old leaven of sin unto death. When we get “Inoculated” by the “Holy Spirit,” and a new life is born in us, the Holy Spirit guides and directs us away from any further future infections of sin, and this “New Life in Christ,” blossoms and grows within, giving us an abundant life in Christ. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” We now live by the law of love, the law of a new life in Christ Jesus our Lord. By our daily walk we come closer to God, and are immune from the subtle whisperings to sin. Romans 6:14a “For sin shall not have dominion over you:”
The closer we live to Jesus Christ, then the harder it is for the Devil to be able to “Tempt us,” so for Satan to get to us, Satan must first lure us away from Jesus with sweet soothing empty promises, and when he has us as far away as he can, luring us onto forbidden territory, Satan’s own domain, then we are far enough away from Jesus for him to bind us in his trap of deception, seduction, temptation and then sin. James 1:14-15 “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth [gives birth to] sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James gives us the deceptive downward slide, we get “Tempted” by one of our “Lusts,” and the “Lust” gives birth to “Sin,” and our “Sin” becomes our “Death Sentence.” 1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:” So if you want to be “Sin Free,” then you must remain “In Christ Jesus our Lord,” where Satan, Temptation and Sin, are almost impossible to entrap you. Stay “Inoculated” with Daily Salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord, led by the Spirit and cleaned by Calvary’s blood.
