The Hard Drive
Here we attempt to unpack a complex concept, but this “Hard Drive” Parable may well assist us to get some comprehension and to grasp a “Spiritual,” and Heavenly development. Let’s say that your ole Computer is getting, or has really passed “Its Best by used Date,” and then there it is, Brand New, the latest generation and the greatest, just exactly what you need, well able to keep up with the best, battery life that just goes on and on, speed that made your old one a snail, even when it was originally brand new, when compared to this fancy new one. You rush home, plug it in and get organized ready to start work, surprise, well there is nothing there but “Windows,” and some “Promo” type programs, there is absolutely nothing there, it has “No Soul,” no ‘Mind,’ no ‘Memory.’ We recently discovered that Mind, Thoughts, Soul, Blue and God are all intricately entwined and relate closely to each other. Let us adapt a Bible Verse here, Philippians 2:5 [Adapted] “Let this mind [Hard Drive] be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Then let the Soul, or contents of the old Hard Drive be installed into the New One, to make it to be all “Lively Again.”
So what is wrong with the “New Computer,” is it just plain “Faulty?” No, it is fine, actually really fantastic, it just has “No Soul,” it cannot think, it needs a ‘Mind,’ ‘Thoughts’ and ‘Being.’ Along comes that computer whizz, and in no time at all, the contents of the old “Hard Drive,” are now installed into the new computer, and instantly everything is there, just in the same place as it always used to be, but now it is better, faster, 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Your new Computer now has a “Soul” as all that used to be in the tired worn out old one, is still there, just newer, better, faster, more perfect. 2 Corinthians 5:17b “old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Your “Mind” or “Soul” has a brand-new body, old things are passed away and all things are now new, there is a transformation from what used to be over to the better, faster, newer, greater featured. Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.” “All things become New,” but your character, your desires and passions are still there, along with your mannerisms, you are still easily recognized as being ‘You’ and not to be confused with anybody else. If these characteristics are not what you want to live with for all ‘Eternity,’ then now is the time to repent, and to get that new heart, those Godly drives and passions while you have life and breath before it is too late for any changes. Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.” All things becoming new, better Eternal. Malachi 4:2 “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”
From what we understand, you are supposed to be at about 12 feet {about 3.7 Meters} tall for a male and a wee bit shorter for a female, and I once met a heavenly being, and he bent over to communicate to me, and if he had stood up-right he would have been at least 10 meters tall, which makes us currently pygmies, or ‘Little Children,’ which is not an uncommon statement in scripture. A time when ‘granny’ would bellow at you ‘Just Grow Up,’ will become a reality, and our bodies, minds and all will grow into that full stature, that fullness of the godhead bodily. That time when ‘All things become New,’ when ‘The Hard Drive’ of our life gets all those virus and tracer apps, and all those many other things that so often drag us down, slowing us up, are all gone. Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.”
Quote; “It is a solemn thing to die, but a far more solemn thing to live. Every thought and word and deed of our lives will meet us again. What we make of ourselves in this probationary time, that we must remain to all eternity. Death brings dissolution to the body, but makes no change in the character. The coming of Christ does not change our characters; it only fixes them forever beyond all change. {FLB 169} Quote; “What are you doing, brethren, in the great work of preparation? Those who are uniting with the world, are receiving the worldly mold, and preparing for the mark of the beast. Those who are distrustful of self, who are humbling themselves before God and purifying their souls by obeying the truth, –these are receiving the heavenly mold, and preparing for the seal of God in their foreheads. When the decree goes forth, and the stamp is impressed, their character will remain pure and spotless for eternity. {CET 191} Romans 12:2 JB Phillips “Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mould, but let God re-mould your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the plan of God for you is good, meets all his demands and moves you towards the goal of true maturity.” What then is being forever stored on “Your Hard Drive,” your mind thoughts and emotions? Are they of a Heavenly origin or from some other source?
