Sleeping with the Enemy
To pose this question; we need to ask another question firstly, so then, who is a friend, and who is a foe, who is faithful, and who is a traitor, or who is a wheat, and who is a tare, whence then are the enemies? As the Philosopher once said, “A man with new ideas is a Madman; until his ideas triumph,” [Marcelo Bielsa]. When a war goes through, and all is said and done, was the winner the ‘Enemy’ or not, and even when conquered and defeated, has the enemy become the winner, or is it still the ‘Enemy?’ Acts 26:24 “And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.” So was Paul a friend or an Enemy, the Victor or the Defeated?
Salvation is a radical way of looking at life, the Universe, and everything in between, but do you live in peace, do you turn the other cheek, do you live humble and quietly, totally differently from the ways of the world, who then is Faithful, and who is a Traitor, maybe when all is said and done, when Sin and Salvation have run their course, when one evaluates the conclusion, “A man with new ideas is a Madman; until his ideas triumph,” [Marcelo Bielsa]. Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.” But then the world views Salvation, God, Jesus Christ, as foolishness, as vanity, as fantasies, new ideas, but then in the bright light of summing up and conclusions, God’s ideas triumph, and they weren’t so stupid and fanciful after all, 1 Corinthians 1:23 “But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness.” But the only problem is, that you cannot swap sides at the last minute, be sleeping with the enemy, and just as the door of salvation swings shut, to swap teams, to quickly make Jesus your ex-enemy, to now become your spouse, and by this to try to erase all the distrust of the past, and to take the flag at the front of the victory parade into Heaven, and to reap all the glory and the accolades, it just does not happen this way, ‘as the twig is bent, so the tree doth grow,’ 2 Peter 1:10 “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:” “A man with new ideas is a Madman; until his ideas triumph,” [Marcelo Bielsa]. Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” You just cannot be sleeping with the enemy of souls, Satan and Sin, self and fame, and then expect the glories of Eternity with God, it just does not happen that way. The one you are married to, that you live with, the one you are sleeping with, that you are party to, but then is it unto sin, or is it unto salvation, are you sleeping with the enemy of souls, sin and wickedness and evil, or are we dedicated and committed to God and living unto purity and salvation?

We want that change of heart, that purity of life, that when the world sees us, it will know that we are not of them. They will know that we are not like the world. Our business transactions and all our conduct will have to be ennobling. {2SAT 55} Quote; “Now is the time to prepare. The seal of God will never be placed upon the forehead of an impure man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of the ambitious, world-loving man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of men or women of false tongues or deceitful hearts. All who receive the seal must be without spot before God—candidates for heaven. Go forward, my brethren and sisters. I can only write briefly upon these points at this time, merely calling your attention to the necessity of preparation. Search the Scriptures for yourselves, that you may understand the fearful solemnity of the present hour. {CCh 594}
In Conclusion; To pose this question; so then, who is a friend, and who is a foe, who is faithful, and who is a traitor, or even more, who is a wheat, and who is a tare, whence then are the enemies? As the Philosopher once said, “A man with new ideas is a Madman; until his ideas triumph,” [Marcelo Bielsa]. Salvation coming down to us from Heaven is a radical Star-Wars, fantasy, 2 Corinthians 5:19 “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” Well, now it is almost way too late, God has already sneaked on in, taken captivity captive at Calvary, has and is still seeking and saving the lost, calling sinners to repentance, but how will you respond and reply to God, what is your commitment, that dedication to the radical, out of this world ideas, to the God of Heaven and the Earth and the Seas and everything in between, are you ‘Sleeping with the enemy of Souls,’ or have you embraced and committed your current life, as well as your eternal future, to Jesus Christ, living day by day, pure and committed to him?
